BFD Girls Firefighter Camp
Firefighting Camp for Girls 15-18 | July 3-5, 2024
Brockville Fire Department is please to announce the launch of the BFD Girls Firefighting Camp, “Belles & Ladders”!. This camp is open to young women between the ages of 15-18 years old and is free of charge for participants. Participants will have hands on training in skills they’d face as firefighters. The goals of this camp are to inspire young women to consider a career in the fire service but more importantly to be empowered, to have the confidence to believe they can achieve any goal they set their minds to.

- Application deadline is May 1, 2024
- Applicants must be between ages of 15-18 at the time of camp
- Available for girls and those who identify beyond the binary framework

Personal Donations
- Cash donations towards the running of, and sustainability of the camp, will be accepted at Brockville Fire Station #2, 360 Laurier Blvd. Brockville. Cheques will also be accepted – please make out to the City of Brockville and note “Girls Firefighting Camp” or “BELLES & LADDERS” in the memo section. Tax Receipts will be available upon request.
